Bringing the arts into core curricula raises student achievement and improves student engagement.

Arts integration incorporates various art forms such as dance, drama, art, puppetry, and music into their lessons.

Students experience diverse learning styles, languages, or cultures – and additional means to express their knowledge beyond writing or typing.

And the results are powerful: According to a meta-analysis by the National Association of State Boards of Education, arts integration can boost outcomes by 4 percentile points, while arts education interventions can increase outcomes by 15 points.
